I just received this unit. Following the instructions pressing "PLAY" the tonearm keep hovering above the groove of the record, but does not lowers the stylus into the lead grove of the record. When touching "PLAY" again, the tonearm returns to its resting position.
I was wondering if the tonearm has a special fastener for shipment, as it hard to lift it up or press it down. If this is not the case, can anyone recommend a service person/company that are familiar with B&O?
I would be grateful for suggestion as I am not very technically minded.

Cartridge fitted?Tracking force set correctly?

Hello Martin, Yes the cartridge is on the tonearm, and the tracking is set to 1.5 which I read is is required for a M5 cartridge.
Can the tonearm be locked for shipping?
No.Transport screws losened?Can you feel the tiny weight of the tonearm if you lift it gently - or is it just floating?
