Beomaster 8000 relay click and clipping / manual light on, on plugin the unit

I have on a work bench a eternity Bm 8000 project.

It started out as left channel smoker beomaster (bought like this from another person). So I replaced  almost everything on that output but still got BM to go on protection when it was turned on from standby. If the channel in question was disconnected the BM worked fine. I ran out of the interest and skills so I let it be for the time.

So I left it as it was and started to work re-caping another BM 8000 what now works as it should (simple recap and adjustments of the outputs).

So I now was thinking I have some time and newly found confidence for that BM. I put the channel in as I have done many times before with this one and this time a new fault represented itself. At the moment when I plugged the unit in relay clicks can be heard -sometime one sometimes two and on display the standby dot will be on and as well clicking light and manual light as well. But no reactions from the buttons. I have done nothing else to the addition as for taking the channel out at put it back in no other changes. So I think this Bm has finally broke me and my will to live. I perhaps have to accept that this is and will be a parts unit. 

On a side note I have notes that google does not provide information as it did before, it seems that there is very hard to find anything that is not adverted and no point to look onto 3 or 4 page as its totally out of the consent of original search input.

I changed the +5v  voltage regulator. Now, when plugged in, there are no relay click and the stand by dot is visible. But sadly no reaction when any of the button is pressed. But it is progress in spite of that.
