Does anyone know how to enter the LG service menu on an Eclipse? I need to change the Region as I have moved from EU to US. I tried using the LG service remote, but it doesn’t react at all. Stuck...

Does it not change automatically due to your IP address, assuming your not using a VPN to dial back to the EU?

Can you not just reset it? Then you’ll go through setup again and you can set your location and such

New: Beovision Harmony, Beolab 50's, Beolab 28's, Beolab 18's, Beolab 17's, Beosound Stage & LG, Beosound 2, Beoplay M3, Beoplay A1, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay H4 gen 2, Beoplay E8 3.0

Resetting will take you through selecting your country, but region is not something you pick as far as I know? It does not automatically select a new region based on IP address etc.

I have actually got the LG remote to work (by removing the grill) so now I just need to find the LG code that allows me to access service menu. It’s not the typical LG code

You can use the BR1 to do this as well.

Thanks but the link only shows how to change country, not region

Problem solved: remove speaker grill and the LG service remote works. Found the proper region code and all is well

Hello,

Just came across this thread. I'm also looking to enter the LG service menu to change the region on my Eclipse.

Is someone able to provide a step-by-step guide? I've tried searching online to no avail.

You need a LG service Remote control. I bought mine on Amazon. Then you remove the Eclipse grill. When you enter the service menu it prompts you for a code. It’s 1925. You can then make your changes. Which region do you want to change it to? US is 22282

Ok. Please use the region code I listed above (from the Eclipse manual). Let me know if you have trouble and I can help
