I would like that too... - not like the terrible Moment, which was basically just an expensive tablet! One of the few reasons to buy it was the "Mood-wheel"... which is nothing special anymore, as others offers something similar, as an app - or it is simply a feature at some streaming platforms. But a modern media centre with access to all streaming platforms -and still with the ability to put in a cd/blu-ray/UHD-bluray etc. now and then... combined with the B&O craftmanship of the alu-wheels and -lever. I would buy that
I recently asked my dealer whether B&O had any plans of releasing a new turntable, given the resurgence of vinyl and the company's past reputation regarding these products.
He replied that there had been something a while ago. Whether it was just a question asked to the dealers, or whether a concept or prototype was shown to them, I do not know, but apparently the general consensus among the dealers was that given the forecasted RSP of this "21st century Beogram" (approx DKK 30,000 or EUR 4,000), the number of potential customers was too low for this to be worthwhile.
Mind you, I have no way of knowing whether this is true or not, so please take this with a spoonful of salt...
Current: Beovision Eclipse 65" v1 - Beolab 50 - Beolab 28 - 2 x BS2 (GVA) - 1 x BS1 (GVA) - Beoremote Halo - H9i
Past:
Beovision MX4000 - Beovision 3-32 - Beovision 7-55
Beosound 9000 - Beosound 5 / Beomaster 5
Beolab 6000 - Beolab 8000 - Beolab 5 - Beolab 3 - Beolab 17
BS9000 looks with large LCD and perfect old B&O quality...and with all modern stuf in the unit :) plus app remote :)
In response to Lee & Stonk - I don't really see the point of this, as nearly all radio stations can be streamed from your phone to a portable bluetooth speaker?
Cheers

A new Begram would be a nice thing for those of us who still occasionally (at least) play vinyl, but it'd be a bad business decision IMO. The kind of people who pay that kind of money for an analog rig are the audiophile crowd, who like to constantly play with mats, clamps, different cartridges and such. I seriously doubt any of them would for an instant consider a Beogram, no matter how high performance it actually was.
I see the same issue with things like the Beolab 90. By all reports a stunning speaker, but the type of people in the high end audio community willing to pay that much for a high performance speaker are not philosophically receptive to B&O's design approach or the company itself. First thing two of my old audio buddies said when the subject of the BL90 came up was how awful it was that B&O didn't make it possible to use good tube amps or Class A transistor amps instead of those awful Class D monstrosities. Sadly this kind of audio bigotry is rampant in the high end.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
The iOS app development team could upgrade the app to become "Now Playable" so it can be controlled from the lock screen:

Jeff: I fully agree… And that is also, I guess, what the dealers thought when they were asked (assuming this anecdote is true). After all, there are a lot of turntables available on the market that cost way more than € 4,000. But a B&O customer, however wealthy he/she is, is not an audiophile customer such as the ones you describe: the latter spend more time tweaking their equipment than actually enjoying it :-)

I want more GVA enabled products. It should take so long to update the M3 and M5.And an universal sound center (similar to Harmony) but at a price point just above the Stage. A Stage like product but with the ability to connect existing B&O speakers.
Beovision Eclipse gen2 (GX) w/ floorstand, Beolab 14.2, 4 speaker Shape and ATV4/Chromecast.
Beoplay A9mk4 GVA, Beosound 1 GVA, H2, H3, H8, E6, Beoplay EQ
As do many, but it wont be priced just above the Stage (if it ever comes)
It would be double the price - i.e. closer to 3 / 3/5k.

Wow, you are right! So there is hope after all.
Beoplay H9 with Bluetooth 5.0 which can provide audio connection with true 'lossless' uncompressed quality. When available - I'll cut the wires for headphones.

There's an old joke about audiophiles spending ever increasing amounts of money on their systems to listen to half a dozen really well recorded albums of music they don't like but that they feel really shows off how good their systems are.
As you point out, different markets/buyers indeed. I used to play the audiophile game, moved from an all tube system and VPI turntable to an all B&O system and stopped obsessing over equipment and just started listening to music.
Hi Beoworlders,
Many thanks for your responses! I am pleased to confirm that these have been added to my video review of the survey, which is online ready for you to see here:-

Please let me know what you think.....
1. A new 46/48” Television in the style of BeoVision 10/11/14 with AppleTV 4K Compartment, maybe with improved sound, although the BV11/BV14 was already great.
2. BeoLab 3 replacements maybe with a optional oak casing and aluminium acoustic lens and with Wisa, know the BeoLab 17’s was supposed to be the replacement but they’re not the same and this style would really compliment the range.
3. BeoLab 11 Replacement, very little change except with Wisa.
I am missing a kind of Media System, with all possible Input option (HDMI, Optical Tos, Analog Audio, Phono PreAmp) with Access to Music on my NAS and Music Streaming Services like Tidal or Apple Music, Digital Output for BeoLab Loudspeaker with Digital Input. Off course wit a nice UI and a outstanding Desgin ...
A new Version of a Turntable (Beogramm) ...Anolog is still alive ;-)
I use today 2 different Systems, for my Music System I use a Linn Klimax System with a LP12 and for my TV System a new BeoVision (Harmony), BeoLab 18 and 19.
Why not one ;-)

Maybe I should have been a little more clear on what I meant with just above. The Harmony Sound Center (incl. front) costs about 6-7 times as much as the Stage. So a Stage like Sound Center with better sound to about double the price point would be very nice. It would also allow the dealers to sell more speakers, as the current path for new B&O customers is Stage -> Eclipse (if it stays) or Harmony. You loose so many people with that steep a price increase. So they never invest in a B&O products that connects to B&O speakers.

seethroughyou:As a fan since 2000 when I spent my first ever pay cheque on B&O, I have become disillusioned with B&O. Product after product seems plagued with software issues which take an eternity if ever to resolve, poor construction (Bs5 and Moment) and abysmal customer care. Aside from their speakers which are phenomenal, I can not think of one think I really want them to make now because it will be riddled with problems and push them further into debt. I wish i felt differently but this is my honest reply. What I’d love is a B&O version of a Roon Nucleus-Innuos Zen but hand on heart if B&O attempted it, I’m confident that their attempt would be downright awful in materials, functionality and software.
Dig up David Lewis, harvest some DNA and clone him.
I'm just curious,.... would there be any interest if B&O introduced a line of BeoVox speakers that would work with third party amps/receivers? Software issues would be nonexistent, and from what I remember, the CX100's were some pretty damned good sounding boxes. This could also potentially position the company into the more mainstream market, both in terms of flexibility and affordability... although, I foresee great debate in the boardroom about it.
Interesting proposition, imagine the S45.2 with a better tweeter. It goes against B&O's active speaker philosophy, but I wonder. If nothing else they could make a combination, ICE amp and a passive speaker. Klipsch for one does this, one speaker has an amp and BT receiver, etc. and hooks to the 2nd with a speaker wire. Less expensive than a DSP based true active, might be an interesting Play type of product. Who knows if it'd sell, it'd have to be priced aggressively and I'm not sure B&O knows how to do that or cares to do it, doesn't fit a premium product attitude in their minds.
I'm not sure how the whole speaker market is faring these days. Should try and look at numbers but I'm betting the death of traditional hifi has made that an iffy market.
