I have a Beomaster 2000 that needs a new tuner board, one post is broken and it has a break on the other side too. To get the variable capacitor on and off easily I need to remove the pulley to access a screw. It has some weird retention mechanism I have never seen, and not wanting to break anything else would like to know the correct method of removal. It's the metal retaining collar/thingy in the below photo. In the service manual it is listed as "Spire" which is most unhelpful!
