I saw that in the current Philips advertising in commercial television:

did philips steal a design idea from B & O ??Why is not there such a retro design alternative from B & O at an affordable price?
This OLED TV is available for 55" and 65".

What design idea?
I saw this promotional video on German television and immediately thought that this
was a revised version of Beovision 7 40 with Beolab 7 2!
Isn't this similarity immediately recognizable?

Erm, not at all, no.

Philips have their own Ambilight tech, its pretty cool actually. I had a Designline 55 Glass panel TV years ago.
If you want to see what B&O copied, look at the Loewe Individual Compose Speaker for the pole stand. Then again you can say Loewe copied the BV7...
Looks like a cheap Philips OLED TV.

The Ambilight part is great. But the 980 series of Philips remind me vaguely of a Loewe. And a Loewe vaguely reminds me of a BV. The Philips with the stand is not bad eitherway.
