Hi.
I have two Beo6 remotes. Both was sold to me from eBay as functioning devices but with a dead battery. Other was supposed to be Beo5 and the other Beo6. I bought a couple of batterie-sets from eBay aswell, and got them back from the dead. Took a few months until I started to check how to get them configured.
Well they are both Beo6... Type 1711, item 1171118. Both have firmware 4.3.4, and software 3.40a
1. The batteries seem to be lowsy already, it lasts for about a minute, and it seems they do not get fully charged at all. Is there something that has to be done when batteries are replaced?
2. The more serious issue is, that both have nonfunctioning touch-screen. The other one does not react at all, and the other one works fine with the three "buttons" on the lower 5mm area of the screen, but nothing above.
I tried to switch the manual button part from one remote to another, and the problems stayed similar with the screens. Otherwise the menus seem to work just fine.
What to do?
