Hello all,
I am a newbie to this forum but have owned my 1700 tt for 20 years or so. I haven't used the table much the last few years and when I went to listen to some LPs a few weeks ago it seemed that the tonearm did not pivot (side to side) as easily as I expected. I have found a variety of owner's manuals and service manuals online but none of them have given any information pertaining to lubrication as part of regular maintenance. I am looking for some literature or advice on lubrication points, techniques and products for the 1700. Any suggestions or advice?
