hi the ppm recording level indicator on both left and right channels are not showing on record and playback  .so cannot record a tape need help as to what to look for ?thanks

Correct cable used?
Input selector set correctly?

hi martin cable is 7 pin from steve and input selector is   amp and level is line

hi martin yes the record is lit and the no store is flashing

If you are sure, that you actually have an output from whatever you record from, check the signal path inside the Beocord with a scope.
It could easily be a capacitor causing a missing voltage somewhere.

hi martin ive hooked the 9000 to 3 of my units beomaster 8000 and 2 beocenters 9500 still the same results .as I have no clue were to start looking for signal path or capacitor it will have to go back on the shelf  . until I can find somebody like you who nows what there doing .once again martin thanks for your help
