It's nearly Christmas, the TV, radio and shopping malls are playing Chrstmas songs 24/7, and the majority are cr4p!! Mrs. P. is out tonight on a Christmas do and I'm idly searching t'interweb and ended up on Youtube and Lindisfarne..................... the Pogues may have a fine Christmas song (possibly the best) but it's nowhere near as poetic as THIS.
Feel free to add your favourite Christmas song here, but preferably off the beaten track
Please Mods........ it's Christmas, please leave this on the General forum!
Ban boring signatures!
For me, it's got to be The Pretenders - 2000 miles from 1983. I still love the feel of this tune.
Video wise, it's got to be Wham - Last Christmas and my friends and myself always act this video out every year as we go skiing every Christmas into New Year :)
I love the classics too but they are cheesy at the same time :)

Since you have excluded pretty much everything normal... here's Apulanta with Jumala ("God") and a typical Finnish Christmas time city bus
