In the v1 software update thread i read that a dealer told someone that b&0 were going to bring out a v1 in 46 inches next year, if that's the case i might hold out on getting a 40 inch v1 and wait and see if they indeed do bring out a 46 inch version.

Does anyone one know anything else about this????

Don't have any insight into any new products, but I know B&O have a booth at CES in the beginning of January. Might be some new product announcements then?

Hi Markledee,

Just by looking at market trends, I think that it's pretty certain that the V1 WILL be available with a 46" soon.

Dude have you gone off your Loewe?

Don't forget OLED is in the shops this February. The speed in which electronics zoom down in price means that even B&O may offer it within the next 12 months!

Not sure if the V1 will look wrong as a 46.  Looked nice in white as a 32 but started to look really plasticky at a 40" when I saw one next to the BV11.

High paul W i didn't go off my loewe it started to develop some faults which didn't get resolved, i could have got a replacement but  chose to get a refund. I then started to think of the next model up which is the compose. Then i started to think about the replacement for the compose which is imminent i have seen pictures of it and it looks fantastic but then i keep on circling back to the v1.

I had a home demo with the v1 a few weeks ago and i was really impressed with the picture and the sound quality, my only beef is the size... i'm now accustomed to a bigger size screen so going back to a 40" would be a step back but the the idea of a possible v1 in 46 inches is really peaking my interest.

Hi Mark,

Damn, sorry to hear about your Loewe. I reckon the V1-46 will come in at around 3K when it gets released.

My only concern at over 3K and a little more saving or interest free option would buy the world's BEST television - the BV11. I was bowled over by this the other day. It's simply perfect in every way - it is art! The red cover looked striking!
