Hi

hoping somebody could kindly help me in this forum.

I have a BS2500 and 2 speakers BeoLab 2500.

I would like to use the speakers with Bluetooth adapter not using Aux BS2500 connection.

if I connect the Bluetooth adapter to Aux Bs2500 plug in and the speakers connected by power link to BS it works perfectly and I can hear my IPad/IPhone through but if I connected the adapter Bluetooth directly to the speakers by jack 3,5 mm - 5 or 7 pins cable, it doesn’t work.

I have tried with 5 and 7 pins cable and it is the same, through Aux BS2500 it works, but directly to speakers nothing.

the speakers works perfectly only when connected by power link to beosound2500.

please someone could give me some tips.

I have tried with Aukey and UZopi Bluetooth receivers, and always the same, ok by Aux - not directly by speakers

thanks in advance.

Hello,

you can't connect the Bluetooth Receiver directly to the BeoLabs. They need a PowerOn Triggersignal (5V) on Pin 4.

The best way is this Product:

Bluetooth is already on Board and you can use your BS2500 furthermore.

If you no longer wish to use the BeoSystem, this could be a good solution, from our site sponsor: https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/179-wireless-music-streamer-for-beolab-speakers-and-beosound-music-systems.html

Thank you nano loop. I have already an adapter device to connect to the speaker and I just need the trigger cable I understood... now the question is if there is any  kind of cable to connect a transmitter in Aux plug of beosound 2500 to transmit a Bluetooth signal to the adapter connected to the speaker.

Hi Guy , thank you. This is an option, a bit expensive to have an adapter with a plug already available for Powerlink cable to connect the speaker. Actually having already a device is cheaper for me buy just a cable. As I commented to nanoloop , I just would like  to solve if there a cable to connect a transmitter to beolab 2500 so I can use the beosound totally wireless.
