Hi All,
I currently own an Avant 55 mk1 and am contemplating an upgrade to an LG C9 with the Stage.
I was just wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to compare the sound of the Stage vs the sound of the Avant? I have heard the Stage in-store and was quite impressed, but obviously these was no Avant to do a side-by-side comparison.
All opinions greatly appreciated.

..and it all started 20 years ago with a pair of B&O A8 Earphones...
If you mean a Avant MK1 as a standalone tv, you could consider swapping.
However, don’t forget, that you will never be able to expand the speaker setup with the Stage like you can with the Avant.
Soundwise, they are rather different - only listening in your own home will tell you, what you like best.

Hi, I just moved from Avant 55 mk1 to 65C9 and Stage. I don't regret it. Its like night and day. Tv is superb, audio quality from stage is superb and the Beoremote One integration is perfect. I almost cant believe how bad the Avant compare to the C9 from a TV perspective. (Picture quality and usage with navigation and apps)
As previous speaker said you wont be able to add speaker groups etc. So consider your needs here.

I will not be looking to expand the setup with additional speakers due to the room layout (plus I have a BeoSystem4 theatre setup in another room for surround sound movie watching).
While I would love to test the stage in my home there is no longer a B&O dealer in my state of Australia (sad times).
BeoPer - In regards to the comparison, you say the sound is superb, would you say it's as good as or better than the Avant mk1?
