Hello,

Various issues I need to address this weekend.

Turn on bv9. (D9 panel) and get these lines

Lines are all along bottom of screen, but if I unplug ( white plug)from rear and re connect works perfect no lines , obviously if you turn off it starts up with these lines again.

Also strange is the centre speaker works then goes off....unsure why...will strip and investigate further, also need to find were lead for stand isUnsure

The last photo is from the HDR left on it, so it works just simple repairs i hope

Beovision 7 40 mk 5 ,beovision 6x3,   beosound 3000, beogram 3300 , 2 x lc2, 2 x beocom 1401, beocom 6000 x 2,  5 x beo4,

, 4 x beolab 4's, form 2, h2, a2,a1 and a beolab 2 😀😀

Faulty Panasonic plasma panel inside. New panel required. Source a late model 4-50 and get B&O Service to exchange. about the only option.

or..

Scrap the TV, re use the Beosystem 3 as your audio processor and get a big panel

OK, to be fair when it's on you can't notice  the lines but for what it cost me it would not be worth it..toget b&o To fix it. As for the bs3 I assume it can be used with another make of screen/TV?... If so would be cheaper buying an oled tv and fitting to bv9... I assume you would just connect to the bs3 or is it more involved with special type cable etc etc?

Or, depending on where you live, find a same generation (D# designation) panasonic "pro" on ebay or the like (saw one in UK for 110 in a ship case) and exchange the boards from your old one to the new. They just plug in the bottom after 2 screws. Don't have a clue how to take the BV9 frame apart but the whole system appears modular.

Had a look ....inside and removed a lot of dust....

A lot of space inside

Can the HDR be removed?

Motor stand cable now in place and works

I take it.. I can add a (dvi d ) converter and run a hdmi lead to a new 3rd party panel and use a (spdif) for the audio?
