Hi
I just had a Grundig TV and a combined iPod dock and "sound shelf" from Finite Elemente. It worked well until the Panel cracked (probably the kids throwing something). The TV was only alive for 10 months. When I bought the Grundig TV, there was nothing to buy from B&O at my price level. Now there was the V1 TV and that we bought. Good looking TV with a fine picture. Before I bought it, I listened to the sound at a friends house. I thought it sounded a bit better than my Loewe Connect. After the installation at my house, I do not seem to be able to get a descent sound from the V1. Now, the Loewe sounds a good bit better than the V1.
Can someone please educate me? I can find all the preinstalled sound position (Film, Drama e t c) but nothing seems to fit. I have tried to adjust also, but nothing important happens with the sound. I feel like I have missed some menu or something?
Anyone know something? I does not sound bad but I expect it to perform better.
Have a nice evening

I had a loewe connect ID and the sound quality on that was amazing i have heard the v1 and although it can go loud and clear for anything other than movies i find that it lacks bass, the loewe i had sounded very good in that regard with clear highs and rich bass.

My Connect is not even a Connect ID. My Connect comes from around 2007/2008, I think. Yes, the bass are lacking and I think more frequencies are missing. It sounds a bit unbalanced. I can not really tell, but it is rather thin in its sound.
Have you tried updating the V1 software. I was told by a friend that after a software update his tv sounded much better.

The TV was installed about a week ago. The dealer said he updated it to the latest at that time. I think I read somewhere about new software. I will check this.
Thank you
I have installed it. With this software update, bass and treble adjustments showed up. I have not played very much with them, but it did not seem to help at first try. I will continue playing with the new software.

I have played around with the new software. Particularly, I have tried the new bass and treble settings. I am not sure I hear any difference at all when I change the settings. Anybody else who have tried? The sound remains thin and/or unbalanced.
