What are you connecting to the Tape and Phono inputs? Are you sure you have cables using the correct pins in the plugs?
Martin
Hi DMartin I connected the signal cable correctly on the tape and nothing is heard even on the headphone jack thank you
Correct cable? Some cables only carry signals one way (f.e. cables for record players, that cannot record).Try switching to Tape without anything connected there, then insert an end of a paperclip into the pins at the TAPE socket one by one.Listen for a buzzing or humming sound.
Hi I put in each leg of the tape and phono jack and also does not pull out a whimper. He is also my electronic friend with me and any advice is welcome and helpful, if you can sketch for him because it does not fit what I have found us on google thank
Hi. I would like to help you a lot with your advice in troubleshooting my device and a technical diagram, because it is very difficult to walk there without proper knowledge thanks D Dillen
Hi the technical diagram and your help would help me to solve the beomaster 1900 2 problem. Thanks D Dillen for your patience with the novices ..
Hi I come back again with my problem because I have not been able to solve anything, I can not get a signal on tape and phono and no skilled craftsmen are not in my country. they tell me they can't help me, being too complicated with no spare parts available. If anyone has encountered the same problem that my little advice or help would be welcome thank you. Question for D.Martin ?? made models of beomaster 1900 2 with remote control, I found something in the forum here about batteries for the remote control which included the 1900 series 2. Thank you
Hi, I'm new to this forum and I got B&O virus. I didn't manage to solve the problem with the Beomaster 1900 2 and left it as a future project. I bought a Beocenter 7700 instead with the box and integrated pickup. Are these devices as construction and reliability? Thank you. His problem is: the cassette, radio and amplification part is ok maybe it requires the old belts changed, instead the pickup part came without the dose and belt plate. it fits from beogram models 1700 or 1800 or only 7700 is compatible, other models that correspond to pickup. I wait for opinions and suggestions to my problem or try spare parts ebay thank you,
I have the correct belts for the tapedeck and turntable in your Beocenter7700.PM or email me.
Hello, I will DMartin thank you for the offer I need my belts for both but now I am stupid with the money because I have invested too much in the devices and I look for them when I have some funds. the heater heats up very hard in the back to the cooling radiator and closes the only one inside the protection, which would be the causes or if someone else encountered this problem after I switched from 220 to 240v so it seemed to me. on 220 v it closes in 15 minutes it gets so hot in the back that the protection intervenes and the station enters the bay stand alone. thank you for your help
Check the settings of the idle current adjustments.
Hi thank you D.Martin I also went to the adjustments but the heat is still very hot there on the radiator. That would be checked outside the adjustments or you have encountered such symptoms or problems. Thanks for your advice.
When you check the no-load current/idle current....measure and monitor it for a few minutes. You want it at 12mV across the emitter resistor per the service manual but then keep watching it to see if it stays at 12mV or starts drifting upwards. Of course make the measurements with no speaker load and the volume at zero.

Hi thank you very much for help I will do this thing tomorrow when I come from work as I am at work now. For me it is difficult to walk there because I am not qualified instead help an electronic friend. Thank you for help and I will keep you at current with my problem. Greetings to all from Romania Dracula's country :
Hello, I have a little question from the work of the refinery. I still have a question. If you know how much voltage the final floor of the station is fed, it would help us a lot with measurements and adjustments. Thanks a lot for help.
Hello everyone, come back to this wonderful forum. I want to thank the moderators DMartin and DSonavor for help in solving the problem at the Beocenter 7700. The problem was the current leakage, the former owner slightly cosmetized the device for sale and inadvertently I say, disturbed the settings because they are very sensitive those settings of currents that had inadvertently reached 80mV, when we checked the radiator in the back I left a line of leather from my hands there :))) and enter this protection saved the station and final, robust construction ?! I also want to ask moderators or colleagues in the forum, which series of pickups or beograms fits the Beocenter 7700, my pickup no longer has a belt and dose with needle. The straps will contact DMartin when I have some extra funds with the plateau only on the ebay market solution. thank you for your help and advice because it is very difficult to troubleshoot this device if you do not have the necessary training. .. it is contagious and hard to get rid of if they, :)))))) sorry for the long post I hope to help other colleagues who hit the same problem, thanks in advance.
Hello, I came back to this wonderful forum to look for some answers to some problems, which I encountered after a new purchase of a beomaster 2400 2. In fact there are 2 problems that I did not encounter on this forum or we created them out of inexperience. The problem consists in a piece that we do not know what role it has and what defect created the problem. I try a picture thank you. Problem 2 beomaster 1900 2 started to burn the fuses. the chaos started the toroidal power transformer burned I don't know where I went wrong. So now I'm looking for toroidal traffic for beo 1900 2 and the picture piece for beo 2400 2 thanks and sorry for the long pos...

The LDR casing controls the volume (and loudness). It has a lamp inside that can burn and its four LDRs are known to deteriorate with age.If the lamp burns, the Beomaster will be silent. The LDR casing can be rebuilt, but any faults with the LDR casing will not be the reason for the fuse blowing.
Hi thanks for the reply DDillen. I come back with the question for beomaster 1900 2, how I managed to burn the toroidal transformer, causes that created this problem thanks. The symptoms were the following, the fuses burned and after a check I found the diode on the control board short, I changed the diode and after starting it burned the fuses and finished the short transformer in its primary. It was a defect created by us or I didn't check other parts before, thanks for the answer
The transformer can short, but it's a rare thing to see in Beomaster 1900.
Some versions of Beomaster 1900 has a voltage setting switch at the bottom. Is yours set for the right mains voltage?
Hello, I come back to this forum with a question. Do I want to adjust the idle current at beomaster 1900 and how many mV should be set? other colleagues on the forum who encountered the problem with very hot heating on the rear radiator b, o 1900.thanks.
If you can explain with pictures how to make the adjustment, thank you
Hi, I came back to the forum with a problem with a Beomaster 3400 quadro that I used in my collection. I tried to adjust the idle current to 12mV after which they started to distort at the radio stations. I made the wrong adjustment thanks
The problem beomaster 3400 there is no power at maximum volume at all and the radiator was heating up hard. I don't know how many mV this device is set correctly thank you
