I thought to open a gallery for BV11s and start with my BV11-55 (white, silver) - along the the 6 BL8000s and a BL2 connected.

(one has to click on the images for full display - they are cut off otherwise)

very nice apartment, setup and pictures - thank you for sharing !

I am not sure I saw where the BL2 is hiding Smile

update: found it - in between the windows on the far (BV11) wall

A question about the BL 8000s: how good is the sound stage for movies ? has the BV11's engine made a big difference ?

PS update: you should post a picture of your BeoCat in that thread as well Big Smile

Very nice set up but with all that snow outside I do not think I would want to watch it on any BV. :-0

I only have one question:

Was the fruit basket restocked because of your little photo session ? :D

You have a really nice setup, and a beautiful apartment :)

Yep, the pineapple gave it away. Who the hell have a pineapple in the living room? :D

Thanks for the comments.

The view is actually over the city of Zurich - main reason I took the flat! Actually explains the pineapple, too: I bought it for the Raclette we'll do at home tonight (so, no, not for the picture :-) )

In regards to the BL8000s: They are not 8002s but 8000s - so they add great surround but originally lacked some bass in the set-up. I adjusted the power of the BL2 to +4.5db and set the cross over rate to 80Hz - now it sounds way better ... still have to do some more fine tuning. Found the abundance of settings quite overwhelming compared to older B&O products (and mind you, the manual is rather high-level).

Looking forward to see other's set-ups.

Well, mine setup isn't as impressive but i made some changes, i switched from red to blue front, from motorstand to easel stand and from Beo6 to Beo4 + iPad mini... Some might think it as downgrade but this works much better for me!  Smile

Next up for change is actually my BL9's ;) Thinking about a pair of Beolab 12-3 instead..

Nice setup (again!) and I think you should keep the BL9s -- does the 12-3s have that much bass ?

And I see you were enjoying Harry Potter Movie as a Christmas Gift [ Nice !!

Beats my two days of Christmas Carols L#]

The easel stand looks AWESOME just like an art painting now!!! As you know i'm not keen on the motorised stand. It looks uncomfortable on it - something just isn't right!

the BL9s are wonderful sounding - speak to Seanie about the BL12-3 he was horrified by their inability and returned them.

Awesome TV!

Nice setups! Smile

I'm not sure about the Beolab 12-3's now that i hear that they lack in sound Sad I'm also thinking about Beolab 5 but they cost a bit more than BL9 also i have my doubts that my room is big enough to make them play clear.. For sure i'm not going to live a my dads house all my life, but i want a setup that plays music/movies i can live with now and in a new appartment.

The only reason i want to change is that i think they look more clean with the tv mounted on the wall! I did know that i would get a lack of bass, this isn't a big problem for me with the music i hear, all i need is the detailed sound from the treble and the midrange..

But i'm going to borrow a pair of BL12-3's and BL5 from the store to see if any of those does better.. It all comes down to the fact that the cute pingvins just don't fit in my design taste.. Unsure

This setup was at my local dealer, and it is the main reason why i consider BL5, they look awesome with the BV11-46!! The fact that they have the same hight just looks right!

Dude the BL9s look great with your TV!!!

The BL5s are the price of a nice new car!!! My advice to any young person, get out there and travel!

This looks awesome! The 46" BV10/11 suits the BL5's perfectly.

Too long to list....
