Hi,

I have just moved house and can not get my Beocom 6000 MK1 with pyramide base to work it just shows as line busy.

I have been going through all the old treads I could find trying various solutions, I have reset the base (using dot 70008) and reset the handsets (dot 70009). All the phones register to the base OK, i am able to make internal calls. I have connect everything up using the B&O wires that originally came with the phones.

I have tried the BC6000 at another house and get the same result. I have tried a non B&O phone in my line and that works fine. i swaped over the cables and the non B&O phone works with the B&O cable

The network is talktalk and also has an ADSL line with a filter. I have tried with the filter and straight into the phone socket always line busy

Any one any ideas before my wife demands I get rid of the phones and have to buy a horrid non B&O one?

Thanks

Toby

Hi Toby,

Try a software update on both items - that usually cures such symptoms!

popped the phone and base unit down to my local dealers.

the problem was the black connector had a loose wire, all fixed now and no more trouble with line busy.

One of my Mk1 BC6000, the microphone does not seem to work, you can hear but not not talk, any one ideas?

Toby
