Hi Fi amp 610 question

Just a quickie about my 610 valve amp. I've got a record deck plugged into the phono input and use the tape input for iPhone. It also has a socket marked radio. If I plug anything into that I get nothing at all. Is there anything special about it I'm missing or is something not working.
