Hi

your beomaster 5000 tuner is mint, don't think i would get it to that standed. So there no way i can clean up the pointer i've got ,if so what with.

I have saved some of the sliders with a head light restore kit, but some of them are impossible to get back to "clear" and stays yellow or smoky

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Hi

As you can see the slider on the beomaster 5000 tuner has a smokey colour to it and the lettering has gone (channel-frequency).

How do you go about replacing lettering.

Looks still okay to me! I have good experiences putting acrylic in dish soap.Whistle

I need to do another Beomaster where I have to put the CHANNEL and FREQUENCY text on the slider. I have a special printer where I can make aluminium stickers.  Will post a picture of the result later.

Let's see first how that looks like, why should I ask money for just a bl.. (sorry Xmas) nice sticker.

There are other alternatives like transfer letters (e.g. Mecanorma). Not sure if they still make them.
