I have changed Beo 1000 to Beo4 in my Beosystem 5500. It works fine, but how to controle Beogram 5500? Is it a button combination?
You need to ADD the comand to the library.
Press list and power buttons simultaniously and ADD appears in the LCD screen. press GO. then with the Up and Down controls next to the GO button sequence through the hidden commands, When you reach PHONO press the GO button to add it to the LIST command. Press the Power button to return the BEO4 to normal operating condition.When you want to use PHONO just scroll through the LIST until you locate PHONO and then press GO.

If you have a newer Beo4 you have to add N-Radio which replaced PHONO but still uses the same codes so you will be able to control your BG.

If I press List with power button it appears "option?" . How to continue?
I think it isn`t a newer Beo4 . I don´t find N-Radio.
Press and hold down standby/power press list.
Release both buttons.
Now the display should say ADD?
If not press list repeatedly until it does.
When it says ADD? press GO
Then press list until N-Radio comes up.
Press GO.
