Hi,
I'm planning to replace my old & very trusted Beosound 8000 with Beosound Shape in coming months.
Is there any way to connect Shape wirelessly with my Beovision 11 (I know ... old one, but no reason to switch to any new model) so it creates some surround sound ?
Would like to know before going crazy in ordering Shape.
THX
Depending on where you want to place the Shape, it definitely is possible.

I am not aware that the first version should not support B&O multiroom - it might have been so at launch, however there were several updates in the first years of the BV11.
The main difference from a MK1 to all later versions is the lack of WiSA - that came with MK2 in 2013.....if my memory serves me well.

If you want to add the Core (of the Shape) wirelessly from a MK1 (means from one without WiSA), only way to do this is using a Transmitter one and Receiver One solution.
Personally I’d use a PL cable - might be harder to install, but it surely is more stable once it is done.
This instruction video from B&O might be instructive:

Hmmmm!
That is exactly the same video I linked to just a few posts ago ;-)
Oh! I'm sorry. Must have scrolled past it too quickly :)
