HI, need a little help just re-installed by BeoVision 7 after 18months in store. Just having a little trouble with the power link and speaker connections.

Have connected Sub and Beolab 10 centre speaker as stated.

2 link I have connected to left front 6000 speaker and 3 to right front 6000 speaker. When I turn on tv left comes on but right stays off. when I go to set up I get white noise and can only assign the right to surround. speakers are set L and R?

That is a strange problem. Just tried the settings on my BV7 and do not see anything like that. The only thing I can suggest is to try a different powerlink connection and see if there is any different result.

Hi Stephen,

Find the menu option for speaker roles. You should be able to set one BL6000 to FRONT LEFT and one to FRONT RIGHT.

Thanks for quick response. I have linked right direct to left and it works will swap cable and see if its the cable playing up as would like to get to the bottom.

When I go to assign it only lets me set the right speaker as a Right Surround (R/S) no other options come up not like the left which you can assign L/F, L/S

That sounds to me like perhaps something is wrong with the BV7. You said you linked right direct to left and it worked. If you meant you daisy chained them, did that allow you to properly assign the speaker roles?
