Hi there,

I’ve a CD5500 Beogram connected to a Beomaster 6500 playing through a pair of Beolab Penta 2 speakers. Both Penta display work and the source and volume level settings are displayed. The track number is shown but doesn’t advance forward inline with cd track being played. If you select cd on beo 4 remote whilst the cd is playing the track number updates on the Penta display to reflect the track being played. Any ideas what might be the issue. I suspect the issues with the Beomaster.

Thanks

A long shot, but do you have the switch on each speaker set to audio?

Hi Stoobie,

Yes, both set to audio. Over the weekend I purchased another Beomaster 6500, CD6500, Beocord 6500. Having hooked the new Beomaster and CD6500 to the Penta’s the display is synchronised with the track being played. I just need to find time to connect the CD5500 to the new Beomaster 6500 to eliminate that it’s not the CD5500.
