Personally, i'd use an Apple TV box for seemless integration with your iTunes library & the BV11.
B&O software is known for being the worst in the business - stay well clear!
Adding the Apple TV to your BV11 would be a truly wonderful package!
rotel1111:Thank you very much Paul for your reply :-) In that case what is the point of having smart B&O tv which is rather daft? Is there any other way?

"Smart" is keyword here, and I've yet to see a smart TV.
As Paul suggested, for a 100 euros you get an Apple TV2. Your problems are solved.
Too long to list....
Hi Rotel,
Try installing Serviio media server onto your Mac. I have it on my MacBook and the BV11 picks up the iTunes libraries without any problems.
Hope this helps!

Anyone who knows me personally knows what a serious Apple Fan-boy I am. We spend a lot of time on this forum bashing B&O software, usually deservedly so. In this case I think we have to blame Apple. The BV-11 (and V-1), were designed to support DLNA servers natively, and accommodate an Apple TV for OSX. That was the intention. In our shop all of the TV's fire right up, and see our BeoMaster 5, 2 different NAS drives (an Iomega and a Western Digital), and 2 of our office computers. Right away, every time. One of my colleagues purchased an Encore earlier this year and struggled for weeks to get his Mac to serve it, using Twonky. I can't imagine that B&O are the only ones who have trouble with OSX servers; but I do imagine that they're the only ones providing a spot for the ATV on-board. The ATV is $100USD.
Speaking only for myself, if you were my client, I'd have knocked that amount off of the BV-11 and sent you to the Apple store to pick one up before we delivered your TV. As for the other 'Smart TV' functions everything seems to work really well so far.
We kid because we love.
