In a recent question and answer session on this forum you have helped me to get my turntable working - needed a new belt and the swing arm needed some lubrication and that is all good

I now have a turntable that revolves but here is the next question if anyone can help -

The turntable does not revolve at a constant speed.    At a particular point you can hear it speed up and slow down around the correct speed and it seems to do it in a regular pattern as if there is a point in the mechanism that  makes the system slow and then speed up.     It is only a small increase/decrease but can be heard from the music from the record

Can anyone help me with a solution

Many thanks

Graham

Something rubbing on something else ?
Transport screws completely undone ?
Belt slipping ?
