We have talked about it many times before,
And now I have it from good authority, it will start selling in April.
Pricing not ready yet, but guesses is that pricing will be the same as now. Just that you can get the panel much cheaper now, and therefore total price would be much cheaper.
Beovision Harmony 77" 2nd Gen, Beolab 5, Beolab 17, Beosound 1, Beoplay M3, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay Earset, Beoliving Intelligence
I could be wrong but I think that timeline is very optimistic, at the very best it could be an announcement but I would say that anything actually selling before September is very hopeful/wishful thinking.
Then again, I could be wrong.

Lets see,
anyways very good news that it is going to happen!
The Beovision is not dead at all, as it was rumoured a year ago.
I am not going to upgrade my Eclipse to a V2,
If/when I change tv, I will most likely do as you, Eclipse 55" to Harmony 77"

Also heard from local dealer (Sweden) that it's coming.
Cool and if true, my new TV in 65" with LG CX
andy_js:I guess it would be too much to ask for a 48” variant.
Very much looking forward to it! Also if B&O changes the way the panel is integrated from a software point of view. So more the Harmony way and use the app inside webOS of the LG to control the B&O world.
I like the Harmony very much, which is great to hide the enormes size of 77" screen in a typical European living room, but with 65" this is not so critical. At least for me.
I would guess that it will be as the Harmony,
So not as good as the current Eclipse, but much more flexible.
I would also be sure that the current sizes 55" 65" will be in the V2,
If 77" comes I will be surprised
A 48" would be great
An Idea, If B&O makes a flat plate to put on to of the sound center, you could wall mount all C9/X model above it.
Then you have the Soundcenter/Beosystem 5
Hi,
I´m glad to hear it. But there are some questions...
- in what size will it come
- will it have atmos
- can you change the panel in some years for a new one as expected
I´m an owner of a BV 7 MK II (2013) and till today I´m very satisfied with the picture and that I can still use my old Beosystem 7000 with it.
- in what size will it come?: Properly in 55" and 65"
- will it have atmos?: Most likely not
- can you change the panel in some years for a new one as expected?: Yes you can, if LG do not change a lot in design on their C line.
Very curious to know the sizes... Hope that the 55" will still be available.
Karel.
Great !I suppose the look will be the same. and I guess same sizes available.Apparently, it will be LG C9, as far as I heard...
I am just waiting for the official announcement to place an order.
Thanks for the news, Emil !

I'm pretty confident they won't ditch the 55". I have a BV12-65 and it requires a lot of wall real-estate and most people say it looks too big (but love the TV and picture). I'd probably move down to a 55" for my next TV.

If the look will be the same.......from behind, it would mean, that it is costum build.
Which again would mean, that you’d have to buy it as is.....with no option to swap for a later C version (or buy the C9 elsewhere or already have one).
In my understanding it will come with a stock C9....but I really have no knowledge, yet.
On the other hand - you don’t very often look at it from behind.
Will be interesting how they make the solution when connecting both parts!
Usually when you wallmount the C’s, you use a bracket on the tv.........which you don’t do with the Eclipse.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
It will be launched during ISE next week in Amsterdam.
maybe worth a visit?

Cool! I'll be at ISE next week. Maybe the BS Balance too? Or would that be stretching it too far :P
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
40" is EOL, 48" still available from what I know.
This weekend I saw a huge billboard advertisement for the Horizon at the main Rotterdam-Amsterdam highway in The Hague! From the local dealer.
ISE is first starting tommorrow,
And the press release is usually very slow to get out, so fastest would be if one was there to report.
According to what he said in the Beotalk podcast on sunday, he/Miki and Steve (SoundsHeavenly) will be there.
I am sure that they will report if there is anything interesting to announce.
I've visited ISE today, no new Eclipse. But confirmation that the Eclipse "will be here to stay"...
Hallo 1990,
Thank you for the information,
Did they have a special setup or anything?
Little chance I would suggest.
LG Display have given (if thats the right word) 48 inch OLEDs to very few other TV brands.
While that's by no means definitive, elsewhere B&O seem more interested in large screen setups, especially given average screen sizes purchased are getting ever larger, and are beyond 48 inches already.
Would be nice option though.
Any news from B&O at the ISE 2020?
Isn't it pretty much over now?
Fridays schedule looks both minimal and a half day.
No news is just that, no news.

vlohjr1: Would it be safe to say that there is no new tv launch this year of any size?
Would it be safe to say that there is no new tv launch this year of any size?
The year has just begun!
You cant say anything with any certainty, especially given the new management.
Who knows re the Eclipse - some say they've been told some sort of update is due. I've certainly been told its been under consideration, but that nothing was imminent. Of the 3 new products my dealer was shown at a dealer meeting in January, none were a new TV.
The big question is whether it will be updated in its current form factor, or we get a two part Tv solution, where a sound centre (with which can expand to add other speakers etc) can be matched with an LG and look something like an updated version. How they do that, and how closely it will resemble the current Eclipse is anyones guess.
If its the latter, whether you can actually call it an Eclipse, let alone a Beovision will be down to interpretation I would suggest.
I'm pretty sure any future form factor will be more two part. I've said this before, but EU energy emission regulations as they relate to these types of TV's means that they cant sell a BV in its old way - as a single unit. The Harmony is two parts, and hence gets around these regulations. As such, any future TV's will very likely have to be along these lines - for example, an OLED BV11/14 is simply not possible for this reason.
As for sizes, I'm sceptical they will do a 77 (and perhaps not even a 65), as that will overlap too much with the Harmony. And I think they would prefer the focus to be on the Harmony.

Except you can't exactly wall mount a Harmony, at least not a hinged wall mount that swings away from the wall toward the viewing area. This is one of the primary reasons I bought an Eclipse.
I'm also skeptical about a 77 because this would mean the sound center would need to be expanded to maintain the same look, and this is probably more of a re-design than they can afford at the moment.
Interestingly, the Harmony has one Sound Center with different sized speaker panels. So you can switch sizes while retaining the Sound Center. If the redesign is something more fundamental, B&O could use the same approach?
In that case the Sound Center could also double as the much wanted “BeoSys 5” integrated in a centre speaker?
