Hi guys,
I am currently looking for replacement of MMC 20E cartridge for my Beogram 2200. I have found few options in the net, but as far as I know there is an option to get it retipped. Unfortunately I can't find a place that does that service. Can you help please? Thanks in advance.

I had my MMC20E (also used in my Beogram 2200) retipped by "Tonabnemerservice" in Germany a few years back.
What other cartridge for the 2200 are you looking for?

Thank you for the restoration contact in Germany.The other option that I have found is SMMC 20E by Soundsmith. Also some original B&O old ones (no warranties there). But I prefer to retip mine, because except for the stylus, the cartridge looks in good condition. Still I am not an expert so I am waiting for the opinion of a turntable service master that I gave my Beogram for check.
There is a (U.S.) company called Soundsmith,who are the only manufacturer of these cartridges, and we are authorized to do so under license by Bang and Olufsen. They are fully warranteed against manufacturing defect for two full years.
They have equivalent cartridges , or can re-tip your existing one.
The SMMC 20E is the equivalent of the MMC20 E.
