Beogram 4500 owners manual

Hello!

Is there a more sophisticated owners manual than the one which could be found online? I just find the one with 6 pages (setup etc.)...there is nothing who to operate the Beogram...

special needs: mounting mmc - just plug and play? anything that has to be done in a given way? 

the other functions should be self explaining...

thanks for the hint

as I have to mount the stylus on my own - is this just plug and play? Can/Do I/have to anyhow lift the tonearm?

Hi Elmer,

The whole cartridge is plug and play:

1) Check that the stylus guard is lowered, i.e. protecting the stylus.

2) Holding the tonearm still with one hand, insert the cartridge into the end of the tonearm.

3) Adjust the stylus pressure using the sliding control near the rear (right hand side?) of the tonearm.

From memory: 1.5g for MMC5 and 1.0g for MMC1. You should be able to find the specs on BeoWorld product info pages.

4) Carefully raise the stylus guard to its “parked” position (it should click into place), to expose the stylus to the record.
