Hello there,

I think about to buy a set beolab 5 2004,2005 is this a good idea. The seller were I want to sell this set have the set for 2 years. He bought this set by a dealer second life.

Serial number is 17487387. This one has an c13 cable.

The beolab 5 is in a perfect condition. The price is €5350,00.

Now the question is this a good idea or is this a wrong idea.

I wanne connect the beolab 5 with my b&o moment.

I like to here some advise.

No mistake, this is a 15years old speaker, I have a pair from 2007. They still work great, if you stay in the B&O world (except the Core...here you need workarounds) this is still great speaker. Look is still amazing and I guess will be a all time B&O classic along with the Beosound 9000 etc.

The question what do get for that budget in the new world. BL50 are far off, than you are at the "penguins".

Only problem might be potentially failure of the electronics, that might require a bigger budget. Also you need a shop who could do this. So if you life somewhere in the US that might be a problem. These speakers you do not put on the backseat of your car...
