I'm repairing a Beogram 1203 record player. The player doesn't run or sometimes runs slowly and makes a lot of noise. Research on the internet revealed that the rubber of the idler wheel was hardened and has to be replaced. Part number of the wheel is 2804012. I guess this is an obsolete item, so where can I get a new one?

Dear Lesley. I have the same issue with my recently aquired 1203. I've removed the bottom of the turntable but it isn't immediately obvious to me how to remove the idler wheel. I guess need to remove the driver motor first and then the bracket holding the idler wheel. Is there anything I need to watch out for when carrying out this manouvre? I've been trying to find a strip-down guide on line but couldn't find anything. Thanks for any help you can give David W
