I have a Beomaster 6000 that I recently went through and recapped/serviced using Dillen's kit - it works great now! It does have the remote receiver board in it, but the remote I have is not causing anything to happen. Is there an easy way to test the remote that I'm overlooking, to tell if it's the remote or the receiving unit? Any common failures on either? Thank you!

Try activating the remove and look for lights flashing using your phones front camera.

No reaction there, and I do know that I have a good battery. Solder joints all look good inside, diodes and transistors all tested okay. The IC is marked as 8340655 and R1 is RM 8-104J. Are either of these guys known issues?
