Beoplay A1 as phone speaker for conference calls

In the coming weeks I will only work in the home office and spend a lot of time in calls every day. I wanted to ask if anyone has good and long term experience with the Beoplay A1 as loudspeaker and microphone gor calls.

Yep, it's great. I work from home permanently and use an a1 for conferencing every day. Superb sound quality and battery life.

I used it once in a conference call (in a meeting room) because the conference phone failed and it was good

Now I have bought a Beoplay A1 in moss green and it fulfills its purpose perfectly, looks great and sounds great

Looks great - I hope you enjoy it. I’ve been very happy with mine.

I work with quite a few people who are not used to remote/home working and have been finding it difficult. This week to keep morale up I set up a shared Spotify playlist and asked everyone to add their 5 favourite tunes. There’s about 10 of us so plenty to listen to while we work. It’s been a great way to keep in touch and share a personal connection through music. My little A1 has been pumping out classics all day, plus quite a few new artists for me which has been great.

I have one used with iPhone XS Max for conf calls, I have to say that people on the other end always complain when it’s used as a phone and normal iPhone as the microphone is better. Brilliant as a speaker though.
