Dear friends,
during this period of lockdown here in Italy due to Coronavirus I have time to try solving the "repeat" issue on my beloved Beogram 4000. A couple of years ago it was recapped, new reed glass elements fitted and everything checked and adjusted (thanks to the service manual and your great help here)
Everything went fine for some months, but at some point it started again to self power-on: it plays whole record, then the arm rise, goes back, off....And then on again and replay the record. Quite annoying.
If I press stop manually it powers off, but after some minutes it self-powers on again. I have to pull the plug to switch it off.
Is my 4000 the only one in the world with a repeat function?

Sounds obvious but you could take a look at the contacts on the ON switch...….they are prone to causing problems as I well know.
