B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.
Maybe it is the right time to buy!

The companies cash flow and cash balance could sustain them for at least 1-2 years at current levels.
B&O in my life 😊:
KMA:It seems the stock price of B&O has today hit a similar or worse low than after the 2008 recession. Are they in a position to carry themselves over the Covid-19 inflected crisis in terms of cash and liquid assets?
No idea what's happening in Denmark, but in the UK the government will underwrite a lot of manufacturing and even paying employees wages, so most companies will survive Covid-19.
My fear is a new world *after* Covid-19. Economies will need some rebuilding, governments will have stopped underpinning manufacurers and we'll find consumers won't rush out and buy luxury products as soon as the shops open again. So it's the post-Covid-19 period which worries me the most.
I reading on Sunday that retailers closing from yesterday expect to stay closed until July. That's a serious amount of time (quarter of the year) without hugely reduced revenue.
Has anyone noticed a distinct lack of advertising recently? Few companies are marketing consumer goods.
@moxxey
Don’t be (that much) worried for the danes - the government is massivly supporting companies and employees.
It will not be cheap, but they know that it will cost much more, if they don’t.

Millemissen: Maybe it is the right time to buy! MM
I definitely think it's time to jump in and buy B&O stock. Business is bound to take off thanks to their new, upcoming Pandemic Parade of Colors collection: Wuhan White, Corona Cream, Cholera Yellow, Masque Of The Red Death Rose, Black Death Sable, Four Horseman Fuschia, and Dysentery Beige. Advertised, of course, with a collection of snotty, bored looking Millennial models with the tag line "Bye Boomers!"

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.

I guess this is your way of saying you won't be taking advantage of this amazing buy opportunity.
Ya think?

Putrid Green??
H9 headphones with matching designer monogrammed kvadrat mask?
Ban boring signatures!
Puncher: Putrid Green?? H9 headphones with matching designer monogrammed kvadrat mask?
Oooooh, a Kvadrat filter mask! I hadn't thought of that! With or without Blue Tooth? And will the app control it?

The app will be meant to control it but sadly won't, properly!
The app will have a virus.
By the way, I'm old enough I actually saw an extant version of the Cookie Virus in college.

I was looking at the shares today and they appear to have dropped by over 60% in the last year, won’t be helped by the forced store closures.
I know that plenty are in trouble, one that has owed me a 4 figure sum for 5 months!
I think the brand is in serious trouble...
Looking at the shares today, all is not well with Bang & Olufsen, a 60% drop over the past year. Clearly not helped by the forced store closures. I think the Coronavirus will probably be the final nail in the coffin for a good portion of stores.
There’s one shameful dealer out there that has owed me a 4 figure sum since last November!
Without making a judgement on their ability to survive, remember of course that global stock markets have taken a pounding in March, so B&O setting a new low should be no surprise.
The company is worth very little now - I'd seriously question whether they have the balance sheet to survive a 2 year global economic slump.
If the global economy starts moving again in the 2nd half the year and is not knocked again by a second wave of the virus, then they may limp on.
This was the pre-virus crisis background for the company anyway - they'd lost the confidence of investors a while ago.
Quite why some seem to hold out hope for game changing products from B&O now, well that escapes me.

B&O after a long time IMHO, has an excellent overall product line which is a positive and the software has gotten much better. In terms of design and heritage I agree they are second to none. The customer service in the US is lacking. For instance, there is no way to get any B&O product repaired near Washington DC. So for many people that would be a risk. Also, their retail presence is very low.
Overall though I feel they are heading in the right direction. Such changes are difficult. The quality of their Chinese made products IMHO are at par with what they build in the Czech Republic .
