Hi!

I have a BeoSound Core + Transmitter 1 connected to my Beolab 18.

I'd like to connect my PRO-JECT DEBUT CARBON turntable (+DAC without the volume control) to the sound system.

I already tried to connect the turntable to BeoSound Core just by using RCA connector and I got the sound but I wasn't able to control the volume remotely by using the Beosound Core sound settings.

My question is can I use BeoSound Core/Transmitter 1 for that and what would be the easiest way to control the volume when using the turntable?

Thank you!

BR,

Kalle

Hi.

Is it a DAC or a RIAA pre-amp?

You should be able connect to the Core Line-In this way: Turntable -> (RCA/RCA) -> RIAA -> (RCA/MiniJack) -> Core Line In

Your Core line-in must have a controllable volume, i.e. the fixed volume level must not be set

With the B&O app you should be able to control the volume, or better with a B&O remote.

I had the same turntable + pro-ject RIAA connected to my Moment this way, and all was working perfectly, I don't see any difference by using the Core instead of the Moment in this scenario.
