There's no new Horizon coming.
What's the plan with the new Eclipse? I saw an ex-demo one for sale the other day at £5400 and that's tempting, but would be interested in seeing what's coming with Eclipse v2.
However, we also need to remember that dealers are closed. I cannot imagine anything will be released now without dealer support as a) people can't see the products in person and that's essential for expensive items and b) very unfair to the dealer network if B&O sells new products direct. My guess is that new products will be delayed until retail opens worldwide, June/July.
I do not have any insider information but this is what I have heard so far:

Interesting. I spoke with the boss of a UK dealership today (by email) and asked him about the Eclipse v2 and he claims it's still - at this stage - a set of rumours and there's no set or guaranteed release date.
To quote "there’s been rumours of it being due imminently, however the last time I spoke with our contact, he informed me they were still in the development stage – so we aren’t expecting any news soon"

Strange as it really is just an adaptation plate according to the rumors... The development phase could look like "let's call STB to make a plate for a stock C9/CX"
This would mean buying a V1 Eclipse at a discounted price could be interesting if one can find this plate in the future to replace the panel if needed (technically I doubt it will be needed, but as LG doesn't give new apps to old sets, it could be because an app makes you want the new panel). This would be a V1 that becomes a V2!
A1 in wifi (Airplay+Chromecast?) should come soon as the A1 are now discounted.
And H4 could be updated, also because it is discounted... Or maybe it will just leave the portfolio without replacement.

There's one person spreading that rumour :) None of the other dealers I've spoken to has this detail! They know almost nothing and my experience of dealers is that they have a fairly good idea what's coming, about 6 months in advance. Very rarely is a B&O product released they weren't expecting.

Looks like it's out of stock online - they must have sold quite a few since the 30% promo went live. I bought the "Natural Brushed" discounted the other day. It's fantastic.
2020 will mark the introduction of Alexa to the range as well. Alexa market share of the voice assistant market is rumoured to be at 50%. So it would be a clever addition. Curious how many Alexa products we’ll see this year. At least Balance (already announced) and the update A1...

No - the G series has different physical dimensions.
Why would that fit an existing Eclipse?

My money is on the latter

Or, worldwide pandemic? It's put everything on hold. You can't release a TV when dealerships are closed.
I also read the other day that Apple staff are finding life very very different trying to design/test new tech for 2021 from home rather than the Apple HQ, which is understandable. Same theories apply to B&O's design/tech team. Most of us have been self-isolating for 4 weeks.
That's why there's a delay.

Yeap I already know that and since I am using a BLI it is not the best solution for me. I was hoping for a soundcenter like a beosystem 4 with an integrated speaker.
