it reads as they make it possible to directly stream to speakers.

But they are not definitely clear about the need of the kind of extra hardware.

Way too little information to judge if this is interesting....or maybe even a fake.

Anyone who knows more, please make it clear, what this is about.

It’s supposed to be this ‘Fluss streamport ONE’ box that mimicks Sonos like functionality. It has pre-out’s and analog in. They combine that with beolab speakers. https://www.fluss.nl/accessoires-draadloze-hi-fi-speakers/

Hi DinoD, Razlaw, Carolpa, Millemissen & Li1NO,

I have read your postings about the FLUSS streaming speaker systems.
As I know about them, I can help answer your questions.

Q. Are the FLUSS speaker systems retro fitted speakers?
A. The FLUSS speaker systems are based on the BeoLab 6000 or BeoLab 8000. As these speakers are now 'classic' speakers, FLUSS refurbishes them. They buy the best ones they can find, completely dismantle them, clean everything (as most have dissolved foam that sits as melted rubber on the electronics), replace electronic components when needed, refoam speaker drivers when needed, polish the aluminum, clean and re-finish the foot stands, etc.

Q. Does FLUSS use an add-on to make the BeoLabs wireless?
A.  Yes. And this is an important part that FLUSS handles. They have developed a HiFi grade, wireless DAC kit that they completely integrate inside the BeoLab casing; fully integrated with the internal B&O amplifier system. This makes the BeoLab completely wireless, only the wire for the power is needed, so where ever a wall power socket is available, the FLUSS BeoLab can be placed and used. When one starts playing streaming music, the FLUSS BeoLab automatically switches from stand-by to operation (and vice versa after the music ended playing after 2 minutes).

Q. What about the FLUSS StreamPort One?
A. This is an accessory that can add any analogue audio device to the FLUSS streaming system. So when you want to stream music from your record player/vinyl, of from your cassette deck/tape deck, you can do so with this accessory.

The FLUSS system supports multi-room, multi-zone, stereo configurations. And it also supports streaming services like Spotify, Tidal, Deezer and many more.

Hi Caroipa,

See my message about Fluss in this thread.
I think it clarifies a lot.

Hi Mikipidia,

I have a set of BeoLab 8000 by Fluss in my living room.

The wireless system of Fluss is WiFi based. This is of

course logical, as a HiFi stream is simply too massive

for streaming via bluetooth. Some audio manufacturers

claim HiFi over bluetooth, but in fact the stream is always

compressed. The Fluss system can handle uncompressed

audio streams.
