Hi all,
I'm preparing to dive into this project with restoring my fathers Beomaster 2000 (type 2911, Serial no. after 2930001). It goes on to standby but when turned on it immediately turns off back to standby, with a click form the relay.
I have been reading on similar issues from this forum (great forum by the way) so i will be replacing all capacitors and trim pots first, then check transistors.
Do i have to replace ALL capacitors ? or just the aluminium caps?
What should i look out for when ordering new caps, temperature, ripple current etc?
Does anyone sell kits for these ?
I have no experience with working on Hi-Fi equipment but I'm semi experienced with low power electronics so soldering is no problem. But is there anything else i have to be looking into on this amplifier?
I can post pictures if needed
