Hi,
I always liked the look of the classic Beogram 1200s so when I found one on an auction site I bid for it and won. It was listed as a project piece as the seller had tried to replace the belt a failed. Supposedly there is a bent copper bracket somwhere which I haven't seen yet. Some parts came in a plastic bag so I hope everything is there. Unfortunantely the platter was loose and not secured during shipping so it has damaged some of the loose parts. The drive wheel is not looking well at all. It is badly warped and slightly loose from the axis. I don't think it is salvageable. Do any of you guys have a spare one that you could part with?
Regards,
Mikael

Take measurements of the wheels position on the shaft, go to a mechanics workshop, and ask them to make a new wheel in pvc for mechanical pieces.

Yes, I was planning something like this as the backup plan in case I don't get lucky here. The 60hz conversion you did is really cool btw!
Hi Mikael,
I'm working on a Beogram 1200 too, I think it has a faulty motor but everything looks in place. Let me know if I can help you with any photos or anything!
Josh.
Thanks for the kind offer, I will certainly come to you for a cross reference if needed! I will probably machine a drive wheel once I get the time to do it.
