Airplay2 on B&O products reliable?

It is frustrating to read that it is technical possible, but B&O ignores it and / or is technical incompetent to enhance the software / firmware.

IMHO B&O has the best 3rd party AirPlay 2 integration. This is based on my experience with many products. In fact it is one reason I have continued to add B&O speakers to my collection.

Yesterday, I raised another case with B&O about this topic, particularly about the B&O App not displaying album covers when AirPlay is used against a B&O sound system that definitively has this information, I.e. the reference or link to the album cover. I sent them

a product log that shows all of that so they cannot answer that it is technically not possible ...

If you ask whether the player shows metadata when streaming through airplay, the answer is no.
I have a difficult time to see what's different.

What way/channel you are using to raise a case?
Perhaps it helps that I and perhaps some other people raise the same case. To increase the demand.

I now have a case opened and the latest answer is that my request has been transmitted to the relevant team.

I don’t have any hope for a solution soon, but as you wrote, the more cases are raised, the more pressure they have on providing a solution.

I would join to the case one may open a copy of the product notification output while playing an AirPlay source showing the metadata including the album cover URL.

Product notification is obtained via a browser at the following URL:

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/BeoNotify/Notifications

Where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the product, e.g M5, BS Core, etc ...

Output looks like below, if you search for trackImage you’ll find the link to the image within the product itself:

B&O App not displaying album covers when AirPlay

It would be great if B&O could display the album cover when AirPlay is used.

Interesting is, when using BeoLiving Intelligence the related BeoLiving iOS App is displaying the album cover when using AirPlay. I do not understand, why the developer of Bang&Olufsen are not able to show the cover, but the developer of Bang&Olufsen khimo are able to show it?

And even more DISAPPOINTING is !!! That when streaming to my Beosound 35 NO meta data and NO cover is displayed in neither app.
