hi thanks for the reply,
was a bit worried about connecting the turntable as my system is a mess right now.
the usb ports are labelled service use only so I didn't think you could use.
will get one of those and then have a go at sorting out.
thanks

Thanks Oggy1,
The lowest USB port is labelled Service use only, the other two USB ports are available for use (only one can be used as an Aux input).
Please feel free to get in touch directly via the link below if you would like me to email you when the USB adapters come back into stock. This cable will connect the Beogram to the USB adapter:-

PS. Thanks MM for suggesting my link for the USB adapter
hi steve
so when I purchase the device and connect up then select the aux on the beosound 5 and also on the remote -which should turn on the speakers on all the masterlink system - I have beolab 3500 in kitchen and conservatory and beolab 8000 in dinning room and beolab 6000 and 8000 in living room.
the living room doesn't work at the moment as just had new tv and is all out of sync. the tv is controlled with the new remote and I have the music controlled by beo remote 6 or beo remote 4.
the tv is a beo eclipse 55" andhas been installed by B&O but needs a delay box apparently.
many thanks for your help.
Hi Oggy1,
Yes, once you have the USB adapter and cable, please select A.Aux on the Beomaster 5 and then press Play on the Beogram to be able to access the turntable from any linked room. The Beomaster 5 is not able to remotely control the Beogram, so you need to use the button on the Beogram to start the record playing.
have sent you a request to let me know when you have the units in stock.
I will let you know as soon as they arrive.
Thanks for your patience, I am pleased to confirm that I have these items back in stock here: https://soundsheavenly.com/music-input/17-beomaster-5-beosound-5-aux-usb-input-converter-also-works-as-pcmac-sound-card.html
Please ask if you need any help finding the right cables to connect your products via this adapter.
morning steve
have purchased the adaptor and cables this morning - the one you advised earlier.
so will be waiting to try this out as soon as possible.
many thanks
oggy1
