Hello

I have rather peculiar problem, I have my BEO master 1200 set up in my room, and next door is the kitchen. Whenever someone uses an electrical appliance in the kitchen such as a blender or the sparker for the gas stove I hear quite a load noise through my speakers somewhat matching that of the appliance. Not the same sound, but the same frequency. If someone turns on a plate of the stove I hear a tick tick tick...Hmm

Now I know there are some strange connections between my room plugs and the kitchen, as we had problems with the plugs in both rooms and the electrician told us it had been wired strangely.

It seams to me that even if their is strange noise in the mains supply I shouldn't be hearing the noise in my speakers. Does anyone have any suggestions of reasons this is happening? maybe there are components that need replacing?I think there may be grounding problem in my amp but im not sure... This may be part of the problem?

It would be a pain to get the plugs sorted and using another plug in my room that isnt effected isnt exactly ideal.

Thank you in advanceBig Smile
