I have a Beosound 5 Encore, and when turned on, it displays "Checking Data, Please do not turn off". I am never able to proceed past this point. It will stay like this forever, Doesn't matter if I power off. I have tried everything.  Is there a way to re-load software or get to the menu?

Thanks

Maybe insert a new USB flash stick with some music on it and see if that gets the device to boot properly? Just an idea. Not sure if that will work, but it's worth a try.

BeoLab 5, BeoVision 7-55 MK2, BeoSound 5 Encore, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab Penta III, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 6000, BeoLab 2, BeoLab 7-6, BeoSound 8, BeoTime (analog clock), Beo 4 remote.

Is it connected to the internet? If you use WLAN has something changed on the log-in credentials for the WiFi?

Try to use a LAN cable instead.
