Hi!
Does anyone here know where to find Beovox S40 schematics?I have such pair and needs to replace the capacitors, but the values has disappeared over time.
Thanks.
8uF and 16uF axial bipolar.Readymade capacitor kits are available for most of the older Beovox models, incl. Beovox S40.PM or email me.

Hi Martin
Thanks for your reply.
Are you sure on those values?I have been trying to read the values on the current one and it seems to be 15 uF and x.8 uF.I am 90% sure that the 15 uF is one of them, and the other one has an 8 with something in front that has been erased (it seems to me).
Schematics show 16uF, but 15uF was well within tolerances, and both values were used in production.
8uF is correct for the other one.
Ah - great. Thanks. So for the other one I could use a 8,2 uF to get one in the E12-standard.Do you know the resistor values as well?
8,2uF would be fine.Just make sure to get a proper bipolar electrolytic type - as the original.
The resistors are 4,7 Ohms and 8,2 Ohms respectively, both 3W, but they will be absolutely fine unless burned or physically broken. They don't wear and they don't fail with age.
Great - thanks
That also confirms that the correct ones are still mounted in the crossover.
