Does anyone have experience of this type of issue with Beorgam 1202 / 1203?My latest beogram 1202 project. When player has been unplugged from electric socket and you plug it and press 'lift' button. the record starts to rotate, but tonearm does not move into record. it is just rotating, and does react when lift button is pressed again (to stop it). also moving tonearm into record center does not stop it. Only way to stop it is to unplug it from electric socket. After unplugging it, when I try again. it works like it should. (press lift button, record rotates, tonearm moves on 1st track, audio good, tonearm returns after last track). and the player works well if it is used constantly (means having not more than 1-2 days break). If i dont use it for 2-3 days it shows the same problem. turns on, but does not react to any button or tonearm position.
is it mechanical or electric issue? I have no idea. I have checked the voltage to be 220V. also tried 110V.
Any idea what could be the issue?
look at hifimanuals, in the servicemanual is shown how to adjust the whole player settings. I think you have to adjust the built in relais. In the lower LP disc there is a hole, when you place this hole in the 4 o'clock position, and shine in it with a light, turn it a bit and you will see a black plastic screw with red paint on it, turn it clockwise 1 mm. and try to start the player. If no result, turn it back and then 1 mm. CCW. Try with patience and it might work. Martin
