As stated it is Business to Business sales typically hotels and similar. The basic configuration is as below.
When B&O talk about BtB they are actually talking about a module in the TV which can be controlled via a hotel system and the remote can be a BEO4 or the hotels own branded remote/keyboard.
In the B&O TV there are 2 remote receivers, one placed as "normal" for Beo4 and one for the "other branded remote" .

I've a non functioning PUC connection on my BV11 (PUC 1b) have been informed by dealer this is normal since it is reserved for BtB functionality - doe this sound correct?
Dear all, apologies to hijack but I also have a non functioning PUC on my recently purchased beocenter 6-26 (I see a steady blinking red light on the IR blaster connected to it) and was wondering why I could not get it to work. Last night I checked the service menu and it seems that I have the BTB module installed. Is there any way to enable my PUC or will I have to get the BTB module removed? Is there any particular benefit for a home user to have the BTB module installed (e.g. Connect to a home video server running on a pic perhaps?) many thanks, Luke
From memory the cable that leads from the PUC socket will be plugged into the BtB module (as will the cables from the B&O IR receiver and the hotel remote IR receiver), but if you remove the BtB module there are sockets on the PCB of the BC6-26 itself that these can be plugged into instead (except the hotel IR receiver which can be removed or left disconnected) - the PUC socket will then function normally.
I did this a while ago on my BC6-26 but can't give you much more detail as I just figured it out myself looking at the legends on the module itself, the surrounding connectors, and by referring to the PCB socket definitions in the BC6 service manual. That said, if you're happy opening up the TV and taking some photos I am happy to work through identifying each of the cables and where they need to be connected to once the module is removed (I can open mine up again to check where things are now connected if need be).

Hi Martin, that is incredibly kind. I'll consider the possibilities that the BTB module might offer but in reality will probably take it out. I may be in touch for some advice if I can't work it out and the offer still stands!

Hi Luke, no problem at all, just shout if you need any help.
I've had a look at the module I removed to refresh my memory (photograph below).
The cable still attached to the module obviously needs disconnecting from the televisions PCB when the module is removed and from memory the sockets for reconnecting everything else are in the same vicinity as where that was originally connected.
The cable plugged into the top right red socket (labelled BO_IR_IN) needs reconnecting to the PCB of the television as does the cable that leads to the PUC socket on the back of the TV (which I think was connected to the top left white socket labelled IR_OUT_7_8 but it may have been one of the other IR_OUT connectors)
All that will then remain are the cables connected to the IR_IN (for hotel remote sensor) and for RS232, both of which can be left disconnected or removed altogether.
