I am always looking for the B&O speaker cables with the molded 2-pin DIN plugs. The new ones you find today are nice but they use the larger, round, two piece connectors.I like the original molded, one piece plugs. They can't be opened and repaired but I like them better.
You find them once in a while on Ebay. Sometimes ridiculous prices are asked. If you Google for 2-pin DIN plugs you will only find the new types.Recently I was working on why a power recliner sofa was not working correctly. To my surprise the recliner motor and wired remote control use these types of cable. If you search for powered recliner sofas you can find more sources for these cables. They didn't show up in my search for 2-pin DIN plugs because they don't call them that. Yet that's what they are. I decided to try a pair and they do work. On the female side I cut off the plastic securing cap as it is in the way for use on Beovox speakers.Amazon carries them as well.

good find John
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
Yes It's true!
My parents recliners both are powered via genuine B&O speaker cables running under a mat in the grooves between floor tiles. No trip hazards- unvisible!
I doubt they appreciate the sacrifice I have made for their motorised comfort.
Haha, that is funny. I am almost afraid to ask the story behind that.
It seems that a lot of these appliances use these motor systems, that I think, are Swiss?Hence the Din standard connectors.
The cable looks a bit more substantial than the B&O ones,so it may start a new thread about them sounding better,ha ha?Or prap's using B&O cables on the chair makes that sound better?
I notice that the suppliers won't ship to the U.K. though? Was it something we said?
I think I have a pair of unused white CX50 cables somewhere John.Once I'm allowed out to "play" again,I could send them to you.
Regards,
Nick

That is also a cool find. I might have to order one to try it out. All we need now is to find someone making the removable pins (6 & 7) for the 7-Pin/5-Pin DIN connectors :-).
