Sound issue on a Beovision 7 32

Hi I am new to the forum and have been trying to set up my Beovision 7 32 with my Beolab 7.1.

Every time I try switching on my TV set a very loud punctuated booming sound comes out of my central speaker which lasts for about 3 minutes.

I went into the sound menu and I understood that when the sound stops it switches from Dolby 3 stereo to Dolby surround.

The selection is never highlighted in the menu as I only have the option Dolby 3 stereo when I turn it on.

I have changed and verified all of the connections and cables to the TV and the speaker and nothing seems to change the outcome.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ........
