B&O's metal speaker grills looks beautiful when they are in immaculate condition. However, they are prone to dents, and the dents are quite obvious. For example, the Beolab 7 series of speakers, the newer Beolab 2500 speakers, and the BeoSound 1 CD/Radio player. I'm curious how others repair these dents. I've considered taken the grills to the specialist who does a beautiful job removing dings from my Porsche.
A gentle press from behind with your thumb or finger can yield some great results for shallow dents. You can also use a clothes roller or deodorant can with smooth sides to 'roll' a dent out from behind if you're careful with the surface you have the grille on (and the angle of the grill as you roll.)
However, once you've got a 'crease' or a very large dent, the aluminium is stretched and it's almost impossible to repair.
